Parish Life

Nativity Parish is a true family and international parish, rooted deeply in its Eastern European roots. As the only Personal Parish in the city of Lorain, Nativity started out serving the needs of the Polish immigrants to the city. Over one hundred and twenty-five years later, we continue to honor our Polish roots while including Hungarian, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, and other ethnic groups. Music for worship is primarily English, but Polish, Hungarian, Slovak, and other beloved songs are sung during Christmas, Holy Week, and other special times throughout the year.
